Paleo Brownies

Looking for some low carb or gluten friendly recipes? I have one for you that is delicious and easy. I have tried other flourless brownie recipes but they were either dry or tasteless. This recipe is bang on! Moist, a touch of sweet and instantly satisfied my craving for dessert. Plus it has the added benefit of containing pumpkin. I love pumpkin! Is it pumpkin season yet??

Main Ingredients

1 cup pumpkin puree

1/4 cup almond butter

1/4 cup natural unsweetened peanut butter

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1 scoop protein powder - vanilla or chocolate works best

1/2 cup almond flour

1/4 cup honey

3 Eggs 

dark chocolate chipits

 

Preparation

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F

Step 2: Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until smooth.

Step 3: Spread evenly into a greased 6 X 6 square pan.

Step 4: Bake for 20 minutes.

Step 5: While brownie is still warm sprinkle with dark chocolate chips.

 

Step 6: Best if kept refrigerated.
