Alfredo Sauce

Craving Pasta tonight? Here's a great recipe for alfredo sauce. Cook up your favourite pasta and add this sauce. You can dice chicken and add it too. For this recipe I cooked Italian chicken on the side. Either way it will be delicious!
 

Main Ingredients

1 medium sized onion - diced

1/4 cup butter

1 pkg cream cheese - 6 oz

3 Cloves garlic

3 cups heavy cream

salt

1 tsp parsley

1/4 cup fresh parmesan

Preparation

Step 1: In a medium sauce pan melt butter and saute onion until soft.

Step 2: Cube cream cheese and add to sauce pan. Using a whisk, mix the cream cheese in and allow it to melt. Whisk until smooth.

Step 3: Add cream, pressed garlic and spices.

Step 4: Stir to incorporate. Bring to a boil.

Step 5: Remove from heat and add fresh parmesan.

Step 6: Pour over cooked pasta of your choice.
