Cheesy Herb Rolls

Want to know what to make on a lazy Saturday? Do people have those? Or are all your saturdays like mine these days, packed full of things that need done and never quite getting finished? So what to make on a busy, jam packed Saturday?;) How about these super easy puff pastry rolls? I have made these a few times know and they always turn out well. The puff pastry makes these rolls flaky and rich. They are a great addition to any meal or perfect snack food.

Main Ingredients

1/4 cup softened butter

Italian seasoning

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Onion salt

Puff pastry defrosted

1 Egg 

 

Preparation

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375F.

Step 2: Roll puff pastry out on a floured surface in a circular shape.

Step 3: Brush entire surface of dough with melted butter.

Step 4: Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and onion salt.

Step 5: Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over the surface.

Step 6: Starting from the centre point slice dough into triangles, like slicing a pizza.

Step 7: Take the dough one piece at a time and roll up starting with the widest end. You should end up with a present shape.

 Step 8: Cover cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Step 9: Beat egg with 1 tbsp water.

Step 10: Place rolls on parchment paper. Brush with egg.

Step 11: Bake for 20 -30 minutes.
