Tater Tot Casserole
My kids love tater tots....and well...who doesn't? Making a casserole with these is quick and easy and everybody loves it. Savoury ground beef, crispy potatoes bites and melty cheddar cheese...what's not to love? this recipe makes a very large casserole so it's great for potlucks too.
Main Ingredients
2 pkgs frozen tater tots
3 lbs ground beef
2 cups cheddar cheese
2 cans mushroom soup
1 pkg taco seasoning
salt
Preparation
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2: In a non stick skillet scramble fry ground beef until no pink remains. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Take 1 pkg taco seasoning and mix with 1/4 cup water.
Step 4: Add to meat and mix well. Let meat simmer for 5 -10 minutes.
Step 5: Add 2 cans mushroom soup to meat and stir well with a wooden spoon until the soup is mixed throughout.
Step 6: Grease and extra large casserole dish and spread the meat mixture on the bottom.
Step 7: Place tater tots on top of meat.
Step 8: Sprinkle with cheese.
